Part of long running campaign for BT featuring the ‘Beattie’ character played by Maureen Lipman. Spawned by the popularity of the campaign, this ad from the late 1980’s sees the Beattie character introduce her other family members. Winner of numerous awards the campaign ran for many years.

A pre-privatisation British Telecom ad encouraging people to keep in touch. Interestingly, and presumably given that British Telecom was, at the time, the sole telephony provider for the vast majority of the country, there’s no mention of the company name in the advert.
