EE — Improving digital skills — 2013 review

BT Skills
At EE we think being connected is a brilliant thing and we’re committed to sharing the magic of technology by building digital skills and helping people get online.

We’ve set the goal to improve the digital skills of 1 million people by 2015. This video shares some of the activity we’ve done across 2013 to support this commitment.

It includes information on our employee volunteering, including our Techy Tea Parties, our partnership with Go ON UK and the online resources we’ve made.

Context:
There are 7 million adults in the UK who currently aren’t online and millions more who lack the skills they need to carry out basic online tasks. Getting online has been shown to reduce feelings of isolation, improve employment opportunities and save money.
We’re EE, the UK’s best network for six years running according to RootMetrics®.
