Inclusive design and testing: Making your app more accessible – Google I/O 2016

Nearly 20% of the U.S. population will have a disability during their lifetime. Developers can increase their user base and create a better experience for everyone by making their app accessible. APPlicable, a Campus Tel Aviv program, helps startups make their app accessible to people with disabilities by inviting startups to witness how blind and motor impaired users use their apps. In this session, we will present lessons learned and provide guidelines for creating an inclusive design. We will also present automated testing tools that provide suggestions to enhance accessibility.
