This video shows a complete overview of how to configure your Orbi high speeed WiFi system in AP (access point) mode.
Two WiFi systems will interfere with each other. To get the most out of your Orbi system, turn Off WiFi on your modem.
Access point mode simplifies your home network by keeping all your devices in the same network while avoiding radio interference with WiFi from an old router.
Turn Off or disable WiFi on your old modem or gateway first, and then perform this configuration.
Once the Wifi is turned Off on your modem, connect to the Orbi WiFi network (SSID) and navigate your web browser to orbilogin.com.
Enter your login credential and click on the advanced tab and then on “Advanced Setup.” Click the radial button for AP Mode and click on “Apply.”
