EDU in 90: Introducing Read Along

Google Learning
Read Along is an engaging, free Android app that encourages young learners to have fun while learning to read. It features a helpful and friendly in-app reading buddy named Diya to help children by listening and responding to them in real time as they read aloud, using Google’s advanced text to speech and voice recognition technologies. With more than 500 stories plus word games to choose from, Diya can make personalized recommendations based on each reader’s progress. After the initial download, the app works without Wi-Fi and without consuming any data. With Read Along, children can practice, gain confidence, and grow a love for reading.

Note: Wi-Fi access is needed for first download and for downloading any new books.
