Edu OnAir: Helping Children Regulate Emotions During Challenging Times

During these unprecedented times, children are experiencing a range of unpleasant emotions, including anxiety, frustration, and boredom. As the adults in their lives, it’s critical to make space for their feelings and support them in managing them. In this special edition of Edu OnAir, Dr. Marc Brackett, director of the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence and author of Permission To Feel and Jennie Magiera, Google’s Global Head of Education Impact will discuss Marc’s 4-step process to both support adults in being emotionally intelligent role models for children, and teach children key strategies to support healthy emotion regulation.
