You can configure goals in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to track important actions taking place on your website (or in your app). Before you can report on conversions, you will need to track the particular action as an event into your GA4 property. There are different ways you can set up events – you can use an existing event, create a new event (based on an existing event), or track a new event using Google Tag Manager. If you’ve been using goals in Google Analytics for a while, then you will notice that configuring goal conversions in GA4 properties has changed. Once the event is tracked, you can configure a conversion right inside your reports.
