Most hairstylist are doing all the wrong things when it comes to attracting new clients. They try Instagram, and business cards and referral programs. These things are ok, but are not the best way to get new clients on autopilot.
What you want to do is go where your clients are (their phone) and get in front of them, direct them to your website, and convert them into clients by using online salon scheduling. There are a couple good ways to do this.
1. Search Engine Optimization. Spend time ranking your website so it appears at the top of Google search when potential clients are searching for a hairstylist in your area. This can be easy if you live in a small town, and difficult if you are in a big city.
2. The next way that you can guarantee clicks to your website is by paying for Google search ads.
This video shows how easy it is to set up a Google search ad for your salon. It is very simple, but there is a trick. You want to be very strategic about how you set up your ad, and there are lots of ways that you can optimize the ad so that it performs better, and costs you less per click.
