Google Docs: Version Naming of Documents
Google Docs keeps track of revisions/versions. Name them to make it easier to find the version you are looking for.
This tutorial will show you how to name the different versions you create in Google Docs

How To Name Versions In Google Docs
1. Open Google Doc
2. Go to File…Version History…Name Current Version
3. Type in Version Name
4. Click Save
How To View Version History
Keyboard Shortcut (good luck remembering ): Cmd + Option + Shift + H
1. Go to File…Version History…See Version History
2. Click on Version to View
3. Click on the ellipsis (…) to
1. Restore Version
2. Rename
3. Remove Name
4. Make a Copy
4. Toggle On to ‘Only Show Named Versions’
5. Click on any Version Title to Rename
6. Toggle ‘Show Changes’ on or off
