Learn how you can add Google Forms to your WordPress website.
Let’s say you’ve a website and you want to get the details from your visitor using Google Forms.
By using Google Forms, we can avoid installing plugins which your website performs better.
So you can add Google Forms to your website by following our 2 simple steps.

Step 1 : Create a Google Form
To create a Google Form, go to ➜ https://www.google.com/forms/about/
Now click ‘Go to Google Forms’ and you will find sample forms which you can add.
If you want to see all the types of forms, click ‘Template Gallery’.
Now select the form you want and you can start customizing it.
You can make changes like changing text, background color, font style, deleting a field, adding a new field etc.
Once you’re done with the changes, click on the ‘settings’ icon
And now if ‘Limit to 1 response’ is enabled then your visitor can submit form only once.
If it is disabled they can submit your form multiple times.
Choose the way you want and click ‘Save’.
Now you’ve successfully created the form.
Step 2 : Add the form to your website
So to add the form to your website, first you need the Embed HTML code of the form.
To get that, click ‘Send’ and copy the code from Embed HTML.
Once you’ve copied the code, next you need to create a page on your website.
To create a page, go to WordPress Dashboard ► Pages ► Add New
Now enter a Title for your page.
Now you need to add a HTML block on your page to paste the code.
To do that, click on the ‘+’ icon and search for ‘Custom HTML’ and add it to your page.
Now paste the code in the HTML block and click ‘Publish’.
And now your form is added to your site.
Now if you want to remove the scrollbar in the form,
Go to the edit page and increase the height value in the HTML code.
Once you’ve done that you will have a full form without a scrollbar.
Now let’s say a visitor fills the details and submits a form.
To see the details, go to ‘Google Forms’ and click ‘Responses’.
Now you can see all the responses submitted by your visitors.
You can also get the details in a spreadsheet by clicking on the spreadsheet icon.
Now instead of checking the responses from Google Forms each and every time,
You can get an email notification of the response.
So to get email notification,
Go to Google Forms, click on the 3 dots option and then click ‘Add-ons’
Now search for ‘Email Notifications’ and click on the Add-on
Now click ‘Install’ & ‘Continue’
Next choose your Google account and click ‘Allow’.
Once you’ve added the Add-on,
Go to the Add-on icon and click ‘Email Notifications From Google Forms’.
Now choose ‘Create Email Notification’ and you will get a notification box.
Now you need to create a rule to get email notification.
Once you’ve created the rule click ‘Save’.
So now when a visitor submits a response, you will receive an Email Notification.
