Backup Google Drive to Your Amber X (or Other NAS) Device!

In this video we’ll look at how to back up your Google Drive account to your Amber X device. This may also work with other NAS Devices that have a desktop application to synchronize files and folders from your computer to the NAS.

Here are the steps:

1. Download the Google Backup and Sync Desktop App here:
– https://www.google.com/intl/en_gh/drive/download/
2 Install the Drive app and pick a folder on your PC to backup your Google Drive to.
3. On your preferences for your Backup and Sync App
4. Open your Amber iX Desktop App
5. Navigate to Backup Pool and click on New Backup Task
6. Select the Amber you wish to save your files to and click OK.
7. Select the folder where your Google Drive data is being stored on your computer and click Apply.
8. Your folder will automatically be uploaded to your selected Amber.
